RUC's researchers undertake basic research as well as challenge-driven research, which covers disciplines within the social sciences, humanities, natural sciences and technical sciences. Research and education are based on an interdisciplinary approach where collaboration between different disciplines and their methods is crucial for creating new knowledge and bringing the university and the outside world into interaction - nationally and internationally.
